How to make cheap call to India after O2 has cancelled 0844/0870 access from inclusive minutes after 28th Sep? What is the best way to make cheap call to India and India Mobile?

To call India at 2.25p/min at anytime from any Mobile or landlines.

You need to have BT Together and follow 2 steps below:

1. TO STORE YOUR MINUTES

From BT Together - Dial 0870 43 70 220 between Monday-Friday, 6pm-6am (that is 18:00PM-6:00AM). BT Together charges call to 0870 at 1.5p/min during this time. Click HERE for BT Together Price List.

The system will answer "timer set for 120 mins", which means the timer is set for 2 hours. Every 1 min, it will announces "connected for x mins", which inform you how long you have been connected. Just leave the phone connected and it will be disconnected automatically after 2 hours. You can hang up the phone at anytime. Only connected minutes will be converted into points. If you leave the phone for the whole period, you will get 120 points.

2. TO SPEND YOUR STORED MINUTES

Dial 01277 770 302 from BT together (the same one you used for storing minutes) at anytime. If you have "Anytime call" package, this call is free of charge. Otherwise, it will be charged the same as calling other landlines (around 6p per call up to an hour). You will hear the prompt "Please enter number you wish to dial". Just enter 0091xxxxxxxxx.

To call INDIA and INDIA MOBILE between Monday-Friday, 6pm-6am, you can dial
0870 43 70 200 directly without storing minutes. To call at any time including weekend or peak hours, then you need to store minutes as above. 1.5 points will be deducted for each minute. That is 2.25p/min at anytime. 120 stored mins will allow you to talk for about 80 minutes. Alternatively, you can dial directly using 0844 574 0100 (5p/min) at anytime from Landlines.
